2024 NSW Local Government elections

The 2024 NSW Local Government elections will be held on Saturday, 14 September 2024.

The NSW Electoral Commission will conduct the elections for 126 councils including Gunnedah Shire for the election of Councillors.


Enrolment

Voting is compulsory at all NSW local government elections except for council polls. To enrol to vote or check your enrolment, visit Enrolment - NSW Electoral Commission

Nominations open at 8am on Monday, 5 August 2024 and close 12pm on Wednesday, 14 August 2024.
