At last night’s council meeting, it was resolved that Council will help the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) seek grant funding from alternate sources to provide for the costs of the Barber Street Offtake portion of the Second Road Over Rail Project. At last night’s Council meeting, Council unanimously determined to approve a development application which will allow the Li’l Achievers Childcare facility to be significantly expanded. The proposed development will increase the capacity of the Childcare Centre from 24 children to a maximum of 80 children.
