Gunnedah Shire Council resolved at last night’s Ordinary Meeting to proceed to apply for state funding for the establishment of a world-class Koala Park and Education Centre in Gunnedah. Yesterday it was announced Gunnedah Shire Council was successful in obtaining $2.6 million in funding from the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund for the Curlewis Pipeline Project. The project enables Curlewis to connect to Gunnedah’s town water supply.
